Long Train Journey

The idea for Indicup came from the experience Amit Shah and Puneet Shah had while on a long train journey with their family. During the journey, every member of their family wanted a different beverage. Amit Shah, Puneet Shah and their Dad, the hard-core tea drinkers,wanted tea but the kids wanted hot chocolate, and their Mom and aunts wanted badam milk.It hadn’t been possible to carry the Desire Premixes of all the varieties as it would take up too much space. Everyone had to be happy with the premixes they had carried with them.

Customer's Thought

Soon after this journey, Amit Shah and Puneet Shah decided to get their customers’ thoughts about the Desire Premix packages. They heard stories of experiences similar to their own. Most customers loved Desire Premixes but they were unwieldy to carry and difficult to prepare while travelling.

After hearing this and based on their own experience, Amit Shah and Puneet Shah got their team together to brainstorm. They wanted to come up with a way to not only make it easy to carry Desire Premixes but also reduce the hassle of making the drinks.

This is the how and why of Indicup’s existence. It brings Desire Premixes in easy-to-carry sachets with a cup and stirrer kit! So our customers can carry as many varieties of Desire Premixes as they want and all they’d need is water to prepare the beverage!

The Desire team hopes that with Indicup’s easy-to-carry and easy-to-prepare premix sachets, no matter where you go, whether camping by the lakes of Ladakh or on a desert safari in Rajasthan, you get your coffee, tea, hot chocolate and nimbu paani just the way you like it!
